About Smartbabies Concrete and How Referrals Work
Who we are
Smartbabies Concrete is a referral service. We focus on new concrete flatwork: driveways, stamped concrete and patios. That is all.
We do not pour, cut, stamp or finish concrete. Independent local providers do that work. We help you reach them.
Why we exist
Concrete jobs go wrong when homeowners guess. They skip the base. They pour in bad weather. They hire the wrong kind of help. A slab then cracks in a few winters.
We sort out the basics first. What can you safely do? What needs pro tools? Then we point you to a provider.
Where you can help
Prep is yours, to a point. You can clear the area, move planters, mark where you want the slab and talk about drainage. You can also plan sealing and care after the pour.
It also helps to gather a few details before you reach out. Measure the space roughly. Note any slope, trees or buried lines. Take a few photos. Think about how you will use the surface, such as parking, grilling or a table and chairs. Providers can quote more clearly when they know these things.
Where pros are needed
Excavation, grading, forms, rebar, mixing, pouring, finishing and stamping need skill and equipment. A mistake is hard to undo. Concrete sets fast. Pros pour.
How providers are matched
You tell us about your project and your town. We refer you to a provider in our network that works in the Dublin area and handles that kind of job. Availability varies by provider.
Some providers focus on driveways. Others focus on decorative work like stamped patios. Sharing your goals up front helps us point you toward a fit.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to give clear written quotes, explain their prep and curing plans, and treat homeowners with respect. Ask each provider about its own licensing and insurance. We do not claim those for them.
What we do not do
- We do not perform concrete work.
- We do not set provider prices.
- We do not handle repairs or complaints about past jobs.
- We do not offer legal or insurance advice.
How we are paid
Providers in our network may pay Smartbabies Concrete for referrals. You pay the provider you hire for the work, under the terms in your written quote. Requesting an estimate carries no obligation.
