How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
You talk to an independent provider. Not Smartbabies Concrete. The provider quotes the job, schedules it and does the work.
We make the introduction. That is our role.
What happens on the first call
Expect questions. The provider will ask about your address, the size of the slab and what is there now. Is it bare ground or old concrete? Is the lot flat or sloped? Photos can help.
The provider may offer a site visit. Many do before giving a firm quote. A visit lets them check the soil, the slope and how equipment can reach the spot.
What to ask a provider
Keep this list handy:
- Can I see a written quote with materials, thickness and base depth?
- What prep do you do, and what is left to me?
- How do you handle drainage and control joints?
- How long before I can walk on it? Drive on it?
- What sealing or care do you advise after the pour?
- Are you licensed and insured for this work in my state?
- What is the plan if weather delays the pour?
Good providers answer plainly. If answers are vague, keep looking.
You are in control
You pick the provider. You can compare more than one quote. You can say no. There is no obligation when you request an estimate.
Read the quote before you sign. Costs vary by job, and typical U.S. prices depend on size, thickness, finish and site access. A written quote is your strongest protection.
If two quotes look far apart, compare the details line by line. Check the thickness, the base work and the finish. A gap often comes from what is included.
